How To Get Started in Acting Modeling
There’s always a story behind a story, the same is true for acting modeling jobs. Acting modeling is a very glamorous industry, but it can be ruthless at times.
You should pick which avenue you want to go in, whether it’s acting or modeling, but going for both at the same time may be more difficult. Acting and modeling have different things that you need to know about in each of the industries.
Looking for an acting modeling job? Look at the list here.
Some characteristics a model should have is a clear face, good bone structure in their face and a good attitude. You need much more than that, but those simple things will give you a good push in the right direction. Depending on what sort of modeling you are looking to do, you will have a different figure.
If you are serious about acting, you should always be learning and taking acting classes for example. Your body language and voice are the first things that casting directors will notice about you when you step in that audition room.
Whether if you’re doing modeling or acting, you need professional photos taken to put with your resume. Keep these photos in your portfolio and easily accessible.

Hiring an agent will be a good thing because they don’t get money from you until they find you a job and then they take around ten percent. I would be cautious about hiring a talent manager though. You can have the agent scout for jobs while you look online using the link above.
It’s important to note that you will need to develop confidence and thick skin because people will put you down a lot. You need to know in yourself that you are who you are and be confident in that. Don’t let anyone bring you down. In other words, develop thick skin now. Don’t let that criticism permeate through to you because it will wear you down.
I wish you the best of luck in your acting and modeling career.
